About This Project
The Hipstamatic app creates a vintage look that is reminiscent of images I took as an adolescent and young adult. As a way to explore the theme of Presence and Absence, I employed a style on this app for eliciting a sense of nostalgia. The subject matter in these images, taken in the twenty first century, could have come from my past.
